East Coast Cricket Club is a non-proft recreational cricket club established in 2019 by fun-loving cricket enthusiasts. The club is a registered member of the Massachusetts State Cricket League

We take cricket seriously but not at the cost of enjoying the game. We aim to build a strong community of cricket lovers and grow our club as well as the sport. We welcome anyone and everyone to be a part of this journey.

Our History

Season Summary

2023 was a great season for E3C 2nd XI. A steady season and strong playoffs saw them progress to the finals, losing to end-up runners-up and earn a well-deserved promotion to Div-D. Unfortunately, E3C 1st XI missed out on playoffs, despite demonstrating strong potential all through the season.
2024 will see both teams compete in the same division. A derby match to remember.

Season Summary

2022 saw the club membership grow as a result of which E3C had to field a 2nd team. Unfortunately the 1st XI team had a tough season losing close games despite some strong performances. The team being a mix of new and old had their fair share of injuries and availability issues making matters worse. The 2nd XI team had better fortune, making a slow start but getting their act together by mid-season to finish the season 4th in the table and ultimately lose in the quarter-final. Decent effort for a team playing their first season.
Both teams plan to come back strong and challenge for the title in 2023.

Season Summary

E3C put behind the diappointment of 2019 and made a strong start to the season winning the first 2 games convincingly. Losing only 2 close games through the league phase, E3C dispatched Lowell Eagles in the qualifiers to setup a semi-final clash with NECC Stallions. The Stallions would prove to be the hurdle E3C would never overcome in 2022.
E3C did earn a promotion to Division D and will seek to win the trophy in 2022

2021 Highlights

Sayed Shah notched a season high score of 86 in the final league game of the season to help E3C seal 3rd position in the standings

Maninesh Kumar scores a brilliant 59 to setup the playoff in favor of E3C

Arvind Dotiyal and Roland Nazareth demonstrated brilliant presence of mind, executing mankads in 2 crucial games, sealing victory for E3C

Debut Season

E3C's first season was affected by bad weather with the first 2 games being washed out. After losing the 3rd game of the season, E3C seemed to have found their feet , winning the next 2 games over a double header weekend, with captain Sayed top-scoring in both games and almost scoring back to back centuries. That winning form eluded us for the rest of the season. A couple more wins rounded up the season, though not very disappointing for a new team.

2019 Highlights

Captain Sayed Shah scores 116 to lead E3C to a 76 run win over TnT

A brilliant 4 wicket haul for Yash, supported by Syed on the other end bagging 3 wickets had Huskies in trouble at 5/63.

Vaibhav Verma scores a valiant 108, as E3C attempted chasing a mammoth target of 307. A quick 34 from Arjun Rangarajan as well.
